Words. Each one is a Lilliputian sliver of stained glass; each one shines with its own vibrant hue, a masterpiece in itself. And yet when we cobble them together, melding sharp edges and shallow valleys, clicking in the pieces of a puzzle, they shimmer and glow as a whole new mosaic.
